Our School District

The Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) has seven schools and an enrollment of 6,700 students.  It employs 388 certificated teachers and 279 non-certificated staff.  In 2012-2013, MBEF grants of $5.0 million are funding 72 educators in our schools.

MBEF’s partnership extends to each school’s PTA as well. All incumbent PTA presidents serve on the MBEF Board for the duration of his/her PTA presidency, often remaining on our board after their PTA term.
