12/7/11 A word about budgeting from Superintendent Mike Matthews: “State revenues are below what was budgeted for this year, which may result in mid-year cuts to MBUSD. Our budget should be able to withstand limited mid-year cuts, as we have budgeted for that possibility. Thanks to wise fiscal stewardship on the part of our Board and extraordinary support of our community through MBEF, we are as ready as any district in the state. The next two months will be critical as we plan the budget for 2012-13.”
