Donations to MBEF fund our grants for the upcoming school year. Our Annual Appeal runs from August through February 17. We encourage parents to donate by MBEF Pledge Day, November 3. We raise money in advance so that we are in sync with our schools’ budgeting process, which begins in the Spring each year. As discussions begin mid-January we know how much money we have raised and how much we can allocate for grants for the upcoming year.
Our campaign goal is to raise $1,250 per child. This covers the cost of the instruction your child receives from MBEF-funded educators. We understand that not all parents can participate at this level. Please give what you can. That you give is as important as what you give. No gift is too small for your child.
