JACE PARDON

jaceWho says you have to choose your sport by age six in this town?  Not Jace Pardon, MC’11, who picked up her first beach volleyball game in the 11th grade at Costa.  The Florida State University junior was recently named an AVCA All-American.  She represented the U.S.A. at both the 2012 and 2013 “U21” World Beach Championships in Croatia and Canada.  However, the bigger thrill for Jace might have been much closer to home when last summer, Jace competed with partner Aurora Newgard in the AVP’s Manhattan Beach Open.  The pair finished a respectable seventeenth in their first-ever AVP match and seventh in the National Volleyball League.  Jace hopes to pursue beach volleyball professionally.
