MBEF is introducing a week-long awareness and fundraising campaign to help offset Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) budget cuts. During the week of March 21-28, we invite local businesses to provide a Give Back offer to increase patronage to local businesses and help further the success of our schools.

How To Join In

To participate in Support Our Schools Week, please complete the online form or email the following information to David Brennan.

  • Name of Business
  • Contact Name, Phone and Email
  • Date(s) of Give Back Promotion
  • Hours of Give Back Promotion
  • Percentage of Sales to be Donated to MBEF
  • Company Logo in jpeg or eps format

If you prefer to make a direct donation to MBEF, your support is appreciated.


Participation Benefits

  • Beach Reporter Ad: Full Page with listing of company logo and Give Back promotion details of participating businesses
  • eBlast: 3 MBEF emails with company logo and clickable links to 9,000 Manhattan Beach parents and residents
  • Web Page: Designated Support Our Schools web page with company logo and clickable links
  • Facebook Posts: 5 posts prior to SOS week and 1 post dedicated at your place of business during your Give Back promotion
  • Storefront Posters: Distributed throughout participating Manhattan Beach businesses and all MBUSD school sites

Commitments for Support Our Schools must be received by Tuesday, March 10th to be included in the Beach Reporter Ad. Collection of all donations will be made by April 30, 2020.
