ABOUT THE LEGACY FOUNDERS
Local dads who have children in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) came together around the need for continued support of our public schools. They also love to golf. With an eclectic mix of expertise, and a commitment to our schools, the Legacy was born dedicated to creating great schools forever in Manhattan Beach.

ABOUT THE CLUB
Since its inception in 1967, Old Ranch Country Club has embodied the ultimate Southern California lifestyle. With a rich history steeped in tradition and Western hospitality, Old Ranch is more than just a country club – it is a vibrant and welcoming place for the spirit of the Legacy.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Old Ranch Country Club’s Ted Robinson designed 6,932-yard, par-72 championship course features 128 acres of water, tree-lined fairways unmarred by homes, and meticulously maintained bentgrass greens that offer challenges – and joys – to golfers of all levels.

ABOUT THE PARTNER
The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation is the cornerstone of support for our public schools, ensuring every student has access to a robust and well-rounded academic program. At the heart of this mission is the MBEF Endowment — a lasting and sustainable funding source that strengthens and enhances the quality of public education in Manhattan Beach, today and for generations to come. Proceeds from the MB Legacy Open Golf Tournament benefit the Endowment, empowering our community to invest in a brighter future for every student.
