SOURCES OF SUPPORT

There are a number of ways MBEF raises funding to support its mission of providing more educational opportunities in our schools. All sources are critical to MBEF’s efforts to supplement state funding—the collective investment in education has an impressive impact on student learning through grants to the Manhattan Beach Unified School District for specific educator positions and programs.

Multiple Sources. one mission.

The Annual Appeal is MBEF’s primary source of funding each year that is made up of donations from MBUSD families districtwide. In addition to the Annual Appeal, an annual disbursement from the Endowment, sponsorships through the Community Partner Program, proceeds from Corporate and Foundation Grants all contribute to the multi-million dollar annual grant to MBUSD.
