In partnership with the City of Manhattan Beach, leaders from LA County, MBUSD, Beach Cities Health District, MB Chamber of Commerce, MBEF, several local faith-based organizations, and other partners, have formed the South Bay Community Coalition Against Hate. The purpose of the Coalition is to address hate incidents in our community through programs that educate and raise awareness in an effort to decrease the incidents of hate and foster a sense of belonging. During United Against Hate Week (November 13-19), the Coalition is launching its own local campaign to denounce hate that will kick-off with an event on Sunday, November 13 from 1:00-3:00pm in Polliwog Park.
